I live in Florida when I don't live in Istanbul, but all the places that I live and work are like locations on wheels. Shuttling between the two homes--one that borders Iraq--is standing close to the fire these days. We'll see if the situation in the Middle East changes for the better or worse in the next couple of years.

Being around the action is something I usually like. Florida is the modern capital of crime--the home of The Second Chance, where every foul ball tries to land without freezing. He will find his way, and failing that, he will find a way around the law. When cornered, he will fight, because Florida is also the home of The Last Chance.
